In Australia and New Zealand, Mountainsmith is distributed by WildAir Outdoors (Invasion Sports Pty Ltd). Please see their exchange, return and warranty information below:

Warranty Information

WildAir warrants our product to be in good condition upon receipt and free from manufacturing defects. Each product is covered by a manufacturers warranty.

Note: This warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover:

    1. Normal wear and tear;

    2. Modifications / alterations;

    3. Damage caused by accident;

    4. Negligence;

    5. Improper care;

    6. Breakdown of colours and materials due to sun exposure;

    7. Damage from dogs or small children; and

    8. Use for any other purpose than the product was intended to be used.

If purchased through our store or an authorised retailer, you may wish to first attempt return/exchange through the retailer however, all warranty issues accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase are eligible to be evaluated for possible repair or a onetime replacement.

Each warranty item is processed individually and must be returned to WildAir following completion of the warranty form below. WildAir will not pay for inbound shipping unless there was an error on our part. We highly encourage retaining all tracking information from your chosen carrier as we are not responsible for lost inbound shipments. Please allow two weeks (10 business days) from the date that we receive the product(s) to be contacted or shipped replacement items. If a product colour is not available at the time of replacement, WildAir reserves the right to substitute a new colour should your chosen colour be unavailable. If this is the case you will be contacted to discuss this further.

To submit a warrant claim please send the following information to info@wildairoutdoors.com.au

    1. Purchase date and details

    2. Your current postal address

    3. Description of the fault

    4. Photos showing the product and fault

Return for refund

WildAir will only refund product purchased directly through our online or retail stores. Product must be returned unused within 4 weeks of purchase. Returned product, once evaluated, will be refunded for the original amount less shipping costs. Products purchased at third-party retailers will need to be returned at the place of purchase.

If you are returning a product for a refund, please include your order number, name and request for refund in the return package. Refer to the return address below for return shipping details.

Return for exchange

WildAir is happy to exchange products purchased via our online or retail stores for an alternate size, colour or style. Product must be returned unused within 4 weeks of purchase. 

To exchange an item there are two options: 

  1. Place a new order for the correct size, colour or style and return the original product to us for a refund (if you received free shipping this will be refunded less a shipping fee). The benefit of this is that we can dispatch this immediately.

  2. Get in touch with us at info@wildairoutdoors.com.au and let us know what you would like to exchange your product for. We will then send you out a size exchange order via email. For these we require payment of the shipping fee and the original product to be returned to us before we can dispatch the exchange order. Please note the timing of this is heavily dependent on shipping times. 

Condition of return:

To exchange a product or obtain a refund on products purchased through our online or retail stores:

  • They must be in original condition

  • For clothing, unwashed and unworn

  • In the original packaging
